Scrambler Dig 2022-10-23

 Hi everyone, 

I'm doing a digging trip at Scrambler Cave on Sunday the 23rd of October. 

This is one of our most promising digs and we're expecting at least a small breakthrough on this trip... 

Meet at Oak Tree Garage at 09:00. 

SRT proficient (or very comfy climbing) members only. 

Digging a compacted sand floor and hauling lots of buckets of sand back.

SEC AGM 2022

 Hello everyone,

The SEC AGM will be held on the 8th of October at John and Selena's place: 64 Patton Place, Tedderfield  (-26.345652, 27.979407) - enter area via Dan Pienaar Dr.

There will be SRT training from 11:00 onwards.

The AGM will start at 15:00.

After the AGM there will be a braai - SEC will provide boerewors, rolls and salad.

There may be spots opening up on the committee so please consider joining.

There will also be a trip to Armageddon Cave on Sunday, the 9th of October.

Bolt's Cave - 13 June

 Meet at 9am at Oaktree Garage. 

Visitor friendly cave with climbs and squeezes. 

Pretty cave with a stunning entrance. 

Leave cars at the quarry and walk to the cave. 

Braai at the quarry afterwards.

Cave and Braai 14 March 2021

 We are visiting Bolts cave for our Monthly caving trip

This is open to visitors, but we warned there is a fairly exposed climbdown, so not for the faint of heart.

We will be adding extra protection but it will probably still be a bit scary.

Meeting at 9 at Oaktree garage.

From there we will go have a quick look at our new chimny cave entrance, before heading off to Bolts cave

and upon return have a nice braai in the quarry, so bring your chop&dop

Wonderfontein Valentines Caving 14 February

 Join us for a Valentine's caving trip at Wonderfontein!  Something fun to do with your Love interest! Get to know him/her in an extreme environment!

a Wise man once said: you don't know someone until you went through a cave with them.

There is some swimming involved, and other fun things, so most people prefer a floatation device like a pool noodle.

So bring that, if you want.

Quarry is a small pretty cave. 

No gear needed.
